DANCE: Grade 8 Moving Up festivities are set for Wednesday, June 15. More info will be released with specifics, but for the moment, we are focused on the dance. This year, the 8th graders will have an informal dance to celebrate the end of their middle school careers. Mr. Kelly and Ms. Bournigal are leading a group of students in planning. They need some parents to help them. Please contact Mr. Kelly at kellyf@fccps.org and Ms. Bournigal at bournigalc@fccps.org if you can volunteer.
PICTURES NEEDED: To help celebrate 8th Grade Moving Up, Mr. Kelly and Ms. Bournigal are working on a slide show with pictures of 8th grade students from throughout their time in FCCPS. Please share any pictures of your student you would like to be considered for the slideshow. They would especially love to get group shots showing students together, in or out of school. DONATIONS: Did you know this 8th grade class is the largest class in FCCPS? There are over 220 students! That is a lot of kids to celebrate. If you would like to make a donation to help cover the cost of moving up festivities (dance, food, etc.), please click here. We went to send our 8th graders off to Meridian with a fabulous final hurrah!

Our Huskies will be taking SOLs in May and would love individually packaged snacks to help them power through their exams. We need A LOT of snacks! Please consider donating pretzels, popcorn, granola bars, etc., for our students to enjoy.
Drop all snacks in the Main Office no later than the end of the school day on Monday, May 9.
